Françoise Cardol, an actor in the French-language voice of all the pre-2008 series of ” Cemetery Shaves ” , recently filed a lawsuit against Aspyr Media, the developer of the reset version of ” Cemetery Shapes 4-6 ” , for the unauthorized use of AI to synthesize her voice in the reset game.

In an interview with the Parisian newspaper, Sovas Cardol revealed that Aspyr had used AI to generate her dialogue and game lines without having been consulted or even informed. She has allegedly filed a request to end the violation with Aspyr. The difference between the re-print and the original version can be clearly heard in suspected AI-generated voice samples that are circulated on social media: some of the conversations suddenly appeared in the middle of a mechanistic reading.
Sovas Cardol is Laura Claudio’s French-language voice and, in addition to the many games that preceded the re-launching of the series, a film reprogramming for Angelina Juli’s same-named game, an event that came to the attention of Sovas Cardol, a French player who warned him about the chorus. She said that the use of AI was a “treachery” to support the player: “My voice is with you, we risk together. It is a complete betrayal and disrespect for the memory of the tombs, which has accumulated a large number of faithful fans over the years.”

It is a matter of concern that this is not the only one in the game with an AI voice. The Brazilian actor Leni Bastos was also told by fans that voices were suspected of being publicly questioned by AI, prompting Aspyr to respond and apologize. In Instagram, Bastoche stated that Asper committed to deleting the AI-generated line by updating it within weeks. It is not clear, however, whether Aspyr has also contacted Kador.
Earlier this year, all French-speaking phonographers of the multi-player ” Apex Heroes ” collectively refused to sign an agreement that would allow their voice to be trained to produce an AI. “They ask us to give up our life’s work and train to replace our AI tomorrow, which is tantamount to giving us a gun.”
